The photo-selection and soundtrack by Katya Nikonorova. Personal enthusiasm “when Eve was in Adam there was no death. When she severed from him the death emerged. When she gets back into him there won’t be any death” From interpretations of The Gospel by ancient Gnostics Each photograph of this project as entities as well photographs as such are pieces of artist’s vision of the world. I, as a interpreter-mediator between an artist and a viewer, formed my subjective world. Summarizing creative enthusiasm of other artists as a wish to photograph a moment of life, and my own, as a wish to assemble these pieces into one common myth about Adam and Eve. K. Bishkek participants of the project claimed the leading position in the project from its very beginning and in this respect it makes a lot of sense to dedicate this exhibition to one of the most outstanding tendencies specifically related to Bishkek photo-art. This tendency can be conventionally defined as “Bishkek constructivism” that is contemporary artists’ reference back to plastic experience of classic avant-garde. Geometrism, including exploited dynamic diagonals”, non-façade angles, playing with reflexes, shades, reflections, objectless linear etudes, manifestation of laboratory-experimental type of creativity - the concept of “Enthusiasm” is implicated by the plastic language itself. The exposition will present artworks from other CA countries featuring similar plastics. Participants Kyrgyzstan: Natalya Andrianova, "...graphy group": Talgat Berikov, Mirbek Kadraliev, Joshua Murzakhmetov, Symbat Satybaldieva & Chingiz Narynov, Inna Semenova; Anna Zima, Alla Kivachitskaya, Roman Kirichenko, Georgy Kolotov, Isken Sydykov Kazakhstan: Gaisha Madanova, Galim Madanov Uzbekistan: Vitaly Mordovin Boris Chukhovich, Oksana Shatalova. Bishkek Constructivism: "...Summarizing our experiments of visualizations of concepts, “Summary” became logical reason for conceptualization of visuality..." read more Oksana Shatalova. Laziness as an avant-garde technique (The group “…graphy”): "...Group members are actively manipulating with technological aspect of photography, by highlighting and hypertrophying analogue (endless, non-discrete, non-digital) generating of the photographs..." read more Photo installation by Anatoly Kolesnikov "Family tree" Photos by Samat Barataliev, Oksana Shatalova Polysemanticism of photo images of such a multidimensional exhibition is manifested in two levels. The first level is based on same works integrated into different logic rows. The second level is based on same artworks placed in the same chronotope but in a different exposition environment. Works presented through different media “breath different air” and change accordingly: intermedial video presentation of photos is sided by traditional static form of the same works creating synesthetic analogies (for example audio component for the film frames can be considered as a model of the spatial exposition of static images).
